I was finally diagnosed with it late 2021, I kept being in denial for at least 5 years, and still kind of am because of the way people are betraying autism. I have most of the common symptoms like being overwhelmed, eye contact, hard to tell peoples emotions, etc. my mother and old psychiatrist of 10+ years kept trying to tell me. I just hated to fact that I was labelled as someone different, I wanted to fit in with everyone else despite being pushed away for unknown reasons to me which may as well been my autism. It’s hard to accept these kind of things at least for me. It explains a lot of the things I do. I just wish it was more normalised and accepted and not demonised.

A lot of the symptoms (almost all of them) you are talking about are also symptoms of adhd and types of ocd actually, I think it’s important mentioning, a lot of people get wrong diagnosis because of the similarity in some symptoms, and the consequences of wrong diagnosis can be dangerous :)

Just to note many people with ADHD have Autism and people who have Autism also have ADHD but they are separate things you can have one with out having the other but you can have both together

I went to the store one time to get tampons. The store I went to only had 1 box left, so, instead of going to the store across the street, I got those. I'm paying at the register 10$ (FOR TAMPONS THIS IS CRAZY) and then went home. I tried to use one CARBOARD CARBOARD APPLICATOR TAMPONS I DONT EVEN GET WHY THESE EXIST THEY SHOULD BE EXTINCT

. . . . . I legit cried last week cause my phone was taken away and I didn't want to go outside without listening to music. And the reason I need music is so I don't over think passing people, being places, or when I heard to much. Cause let me tell you, being able to hear everything is fun 5% of the time. In short, I should probably talk to my doctor. Also cause someone tell me if this is a autism or just anxiety. Another instance is when I went to return a ring that was expensive but just not a right fit. I went to return it and went to the register, suddenly my chest started thumping and I was sweating, Bad. Talking to the women cost me alot and thoughts like "What if they think I was too broke to afford this.", "What if they think I'm stealing.", "WHAT IF-", I was eventually able to get out and I just ran to get myself food and leave. I only relaxed when I got my food. Anyways let me know your thoughts cause this is something that keeps me up. Including telling a kid that I wanted to burn his house. 😮‍💨 I still hate myself for telling that joke.

I feel lucky as I don't have pain or cramps while on my period. I just feel lazy and tired all the time. :)

I was diagnosed with Asperger's when I was 2 so I always knew I had autisim but no one explained it to me. Ever since I have joined the autistic community I have had the thought "I thought I was only one that did that" almost daily. Schools really should teach their student a lot more about autism. AND I WAS IN A CLASS OF ONLY AUTISTICS!!!!!!

Just asking some people with ADHD but does coke Actually help with ADHD. I've researched a lot about it including down to the chemicals but I cant exactly confirm. It just does not fit in or is it the specific person? I mean I know what its like having ADHD and I'm feeling like I have it to but for real does coke help??!?! Idk how u guys dreams are so unreal. Mines feel so real, one time I looked at my hand in my dream, I could see all five fingers and it was anatomically correct. There were tiny water drops on my hand and i could see the sunrays shining in between my fingers i could feel the water on my hands it was crazy

i’ve been trying to get an official autism diagnosis but where i live it costs an arm and a leg to get one if you’re not a child. i just wish my parents picked up on the dumb shit i did as a kid and did something about it way sooner. not saying this video made me cry but it did i can relate to the majority of your symptoms and experiences i just fucking wish i knew what was wrong with me so i could’ve at least passed high school

As someone who is not atustic and a kid in my class who HAS atusmun or how -ever you say it kids ,treat him like. A pice of stick stomped and broken rebiled my tape sure he is weird I just don’t take a massive fit like to others do some-on on the 5th week of school there was a fight with the guy and an other kid ,The astusic kid punches kid 2 and pull up an middle finger, needed to be suppended bc he would get bullied after the fight,I want to speak out but sometimes but once I say it people will mimik me on the opposite way.I just hope that something happens on what I said will stop
