My daughters gained a new aunt this year . My ex's sister had done a DNA test with Ancestry a couple of years ago, she messaged me Easter weekend and told me she had gotten a phone call from an older sister from their father they never knew existed. The lost sister's birth mother put her up for adoption and told the father the baby had died at birth. It was a very unexpected & wonderful surprise. My sister in law grew up with all brothers and is happy to finally have a sister and my daughters and grandkids love their new aunt.

I took the test as well and didn't expect any breaking news. My family for long time didn't leave (if ever) Czech Republic so 88% of the results was claiming the expected in CR. Surprisingly it came with 12% from UK or Wales. My family was upside down and trying to understand. Month later I got another e-mail form company with improved results and voila - no more 12% of Wales and UK. So if you have some results 12 and less just wait - it may change. I'm only glad I didn't buy the same test for my parents after that amazing results otherwise it will be waste of money.

I took a DNA test about 7 yrs ago and was receiving notices of others whose DNA was fairly closely matched with mine, saying that we could connect within a certain number of generations. A few times I corresponded with them to say hi. Well, one day I received notice of a match that was amazingly close to mine with only minor variance. ...and I recognized the person's name. They gave no location so I was not positive, but it was the name of a boy that I had gone to school with grades one through twelve and played trumpet in the band with him. Well, I wrote to see what I could learn, but he didn't respond and soon his listing with them was removed.

Lol, I prided this channel for being one of the more objective ones... looks like you guys are going backwards. what's with all the emotional name calling toward that guy who wanted to live in a homogeneous community that he created? You guys didn't even do that in your videos about Hitler, or Jefferson Davis. Have you read about Putnam's diversity study? I would suggest googling it, because this guy is simply taking that concept to it's logical conclusion, if i remember that episode correctly, that guy honestly didn't come across as a white supremest, just like Jared Taylor is incorrectly labeled a white supremest on various youtube videos.

want another suprising result one of my ancestor was renamed louis philip sergeant , on his baptising act he says his father is Digory sergeant, hsi mother mary oben, and his birth name was david sergeant, turn out that in massashusettte ther eis a family who was attacked by teh abinakis that had louis philipe as slave who gave it to gorvernor philipe de rigeault, that family was a digory segeant, and hsi was was a mary , and their son who was never freed was david sergeant(all match to be his family ) but according to a william simons its been scientificaly proven that he isnt digory son or mary oben son he was infact (Stransgly )realy a sergeant , his father would have been benjamin sergeant from saco maine , so weird taht a guy from saco main gaved for his name a boy name that realy existed wiht the name of the partents being matching but he would be different sergeant line???? no waht happen is that this william simmons didnt wants digory as ancestor(i dont know why) so he mad ea dna testing who ask for his renealogie and they baassed it on him so any one who has that sergeant marker will be link to a ancesotre that is not their real encestor cause 1 for dna matching you need both dna sample no just one, also father test result come in % so its imposible that after 10 genereation the probabilty become 100% when 1 generation is not 100% also more proof the triplet Dahm who was perfect idential triplet ( triplet/twins) dna testing came wiht a 100% result , that they was perfect triplet , so all the dna is the same sicne 1 egg 1 sperm , made 3 baby, but strangely they doesnt even have the make ednicity , wihs is impoisible if you got with logic so all that make me not trust dna genealogies

Ok, both latin, but THEN I was messaged by a cousin I never knew existed in their database. Apparently, my moms mom as a teenager had 2 children that she gave up for adoption before having and keeping my mom and 6 aunts/uncles so there's this whole family tree branch of an aunt and uncle with their kids we're actually connecting with that none of us ever knew about!

I always wondered if the test companies don't just throw something in the results for shits and giggles. It's like when they would trace your family tree and the results were that you would be related to someone famous. It's statistically impossible for everyone to be related to someone famous.
