@DiseasedPopeno You sound like you're scared you personally have ADHD, not like you understand it. You focused on the ways ADHD can make your life harder, even while misunderstanding the criteria necessary for an official diagnosis. If you want to talk about how people are diagnosed/misdiagnosed, that's fine, but you should probably work through your personal baggage on the issue first.

    • Th3 Night Lion
Th3 Night Lion Bulan Yang lalu +2

@Aiden Flame as far as I understand that's how a lot of ADHD people think, jumping rapidly between tangentially related thoughts, and then only verbalizing the last thought in the sequence. This leads to apparently random sentences that often confuse the people around them.

I took a long, maybe year or two break from watching Markiplier to teach myself how to 3D model and print. I come back and he's also got a 3D printer and is freaking out just as hard about it as I did in the beginning. Well done.
Also, I got myself an ONO roller after seeing this video, and I love it. Even when I don't have the attention span to roll it, it just feels nice in the hand and holding something is enough to keep me from getting distracted sometimes. Rolling it will probably become second nature for me soon.

The infinity cubes are actually really great, and once you get the pattern you can do it one handed without thinking while focusing on the work you need to do. But the size is awkward on a lot of them if you have small hands like I do.

The fidget cube doesnโ€™t help me when my adhd wants to fidget and move. BUT - itโ€™s incredibly helpful when youโ€™re anxious. It allows your hands to shake and move and fidget without distracting too much from whatever your trying to do. I use it a lot when Iโ€™m in social situations/public areas that give me anxiety (like grocery shopping). I agree though, the noise sucks. I love clicky buttons but when Iโ€™m fidgeting or need something like that for anxiety, the noise is kinda distracting and problematic in public. I use a fidget like that when Iโ€™m in therapy - it helps me still talk about those uncomfortable things, while also moving and physically releasing anxiety through my hands.
