As a Niner fan -I loved how Deebo did his thing, Mitchell running the ball effectively. Jimmy of course gave the cowboys a chance because he is the weak link to the 49ers

I completely understand. Been a Cowboys fan my whole life and 9’ers vs Cowboys is definitely the best rivalry game. Buuuuuut…..Cowboys showed up right on time, and they didn’t disappoint. Sure the defense has gotten way better, but the offense wasn’t complimenting of the defense. Recipe for one and done.
I’m just glad I wasn’t that cowboys fan that says “This is our year”…every year.
I just sit back and take in the games one at a time because it’s too common to get disappointed every year.
And the Cowboys didn’t disappoint.

If dallas was worth a damn and had a oz of discipline and pride it's a different game. Not necessarily guaranteeing a win but it's a different game. @A Riz IF you swap Dallas and Seattle then Seattle runs away with the East and potentially has a higher seed than Dallas and Dallas doesn't even sniff the playoffs. It's clear they are far, far away from competing against the NFC West. The 9ers took the lead on the opening drive and kept it until the end, this was a dominating performance.

I can confirm there were a lot of Cowboys fans tearing up in the stands. What a rollercoaster of emotions! I definitely was cheering for the 49ers but I will say, the Cowboys fans are loud and proud. It was so loud inside Jerry World but once the game was over, you could hear a pin drop. What a blessing to witness my first live NFL game as a playoff game between the 49ers and the Cowboys. What a game!!!

I see the QB get sacked, and their are two officials one 6 years the the the other 8 yards away from the QB. a play from the 30 down about the 6 an official is four yards away at the end of the play, in the middle of the field.Down range of the offensive line, not behind. In the last play of the CB/ Niners the official no where to be found, off camera, or doing with purpose their JOBs until one ref runs in from behind the offensive line. Just saying, the refs were sketchy on that play.
Read an analysts , that claimed with 3 seconds on the clock Dak should, signal the offense and go for the hail marry instead of the spike.
Dak was wrong, not going down after 10 yards, however, the officials left an opening for them be criticized too.

@jacob kemp Not CB or Niner's fan. Good to know the history of the actual procedures. The problem is for folks like me that see what happened, Pop Warner FB or not, Shannon & Skip etc should explained the histrionics to their viewers and broken it down. Same for Romo & Nantz.

@Clem Fandango It's like that because of a rule a few years ago that moved the Ump (the ref that spots the ball there) from 10yds in front of the play to roughly 15yds behind the play for safety reasons. This has never been an issue because every team and player knows what to do in this situation besides the cowboys. You get every pretty ready to go, your guard or center leaves an opening for the ref and one of your players hands the ball to him. What Dak and the Cowboys did was pop warner level stupid highschool teams know how to navigate this situation.
The Cowboys and people complaining about this look like casuals or sore losers.

@Clem Fandango No one was set because the ball was never spotted correctly. You can't line up at a random spot on the field and say you are set. The ball shouldve been spotted 4yds back where Dak began his slide. Technically what Dak did could've been called a delay of game for spotting the ball himself then blocking the ref from spotting it. Like a said before if you go back and watch the tape the cow ous weren't even lined up and ready to go anyways if the ref would've got there earlier. Everyone must be set in a legal formation not moving. The 49ers got called for the same thing just before this because Jimmy snapped the ball before trent williams was set on the QB sneak. The Cowboys got away with 2 things on that last play probably 3.

@Ben Thomson bro just look at the stats when jimmy was injured in the 2018 and 2020 season... in both those years the 49ers were destroyed by injuries they had like 16 players on IR in 2018 and 18 players on IR in 2020... so of course a backup qb is going to struggle when 17 players from the roster are missing due to injuries look at 2019, the team was healthy and almost won a super bowl but it wasnt because jimmy stayed healthy but because the 49ers as a team dodged major injuries that year 🤦‍♂️
