To answer your question about drawing on the bathtub: they make markers and crayons that are made for the purpose of drawing on the bathtub! I had some when I was younger, and it is actually really fun! And it’s like dry erase markers, they can just rub off! If you have kids or young siblings, or anything like that, I definitely, definitely recommend getting some!🥰

For those who don’t know, babies are very rarely removed from the room to the nursery unless requested. They are given an ankle band and a monitor shortly after birth, and the newborn tests are now conducted in the room. It also varies from hospital to hospital.

For the bath tubs, there’s now crayon thingys at Walmart and maybe target so kids can draw on the dry part of the bath tub wall. But it’s NOT made for actual walls.

That's why when I had both my kids, I made the nurse put on their tamper proof identity braclets right in front of me before I even held them. I was low-key scared my kids would get swapped lol
