The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal-every child except one, Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz). @5Puff Like a tragic beast, with lost exposure
Lol I agree
Good
Isabella your boyfriend's here
I love how Bruno's "mischievous grin" is really him just being an awkward goofball by trying to make a (badly timed) joke about how nervous Pepa seemed.
Slay
BRUNOOO
I’m just gonna spam…
😏😏😏 BAHAHHAAHA
@Manar gh330 The story itself is good but the music is kinda eh for Disney you know?
Another catchy song our kids do not stop singing.... 5 months now? Nice job!
I bet your like 5 or something
hshshahhhahahahhah saim
same here:p
I love how Mirabel interprets Isabela's lyrics as Isabela talking about her current life of being "perfect", and scoffs at Isabela. When in reality Isabela's true desires are to express herself and be free from the expectations of always being perfect.
I feel the line “Abuela, get the umbrellas” is under appreciated for how simple yet significant it is. Whereas Bruno wanted to encourage his sister to let her emotions out, Abuela is literally covering things up, just like she figuratively does with her family and casita.
@Jessica i associate him with the sound of falling sand
@Nerds • 537 years ago I can always hear him sort of muttering or mumbling
You like school
I love the realistic, diversity that is shown in the family regarding skin color, hair texture, body size and shape...everything is just remarkable
@A Human
lmao no i’m talking about how ppl think the beauty standard for girls is having anorexia. i’m not insecure, i genuinely love myself, but i used to suffer from an eating disorder because of how girls were shown in media. ik that body shaming skinny ppl is still body shaming, it’s happened to me millions of times and it still does. but when i say “dangerously skinny” i mainly mean when a 30yr old woman plays a teen and has a slim waist and absolutely no muscles or when an animated female character has the same just more exaggerated, making young actual teens think they’re not good enough if they don’t look like her
@vee it was a whole event in latin american internet. When some poor artists started getting "cancelled" over their artwork and some people were saying Pepa should have darker skin, an army of laughing latinos spawned just to mock them. It was really wholesome tbh, reading all the comments about our families and friends being so mixed. We have a lot of problems but that isn't one.
So all you care about is looks not how they act?
Historic explanation: Colombians aren't really "a" race , because of the mountainous terrain, before the 20th century, it wasn't easy for people to "commute" from village to village,. You go to some towns, and it's not rare to find people who are obviously European and in other towns, indigenous, black. After roads were built around and through the mountains in the 20th century and it became easier to move around, everyone started moving and mixing, as time goes by, it's more of a mix, but there's no specific, Colombian look unlike some other South/Central American countries, the most similar to Colombia in that respect, is Brazil.
Mirabel’s gift is transporting everyone into musical numbers
GOT A HEART ITS CANON NOW
Wtf official disney gave you a hart
how
HAhaaaaa!
Haha 😄 u might be true
All of the background sounds are so amazing. They go so well with the rhythm of the song. For example the umbrellas, footsteps, dishes being set, people tapping themselves or their fingers together, sounds of wind, and so much more. I just loved it all. Also bruno running around and dancing was funny lol.
Very nice song wonder what future generations would think bout if XD
I love how in Dolores’s part you can also hear Bruno’s shadow taking steps and how she starts stepping louder to cover up his steps. Especially at the end of her verse where she even steps up onto boxes in ascending volume right where the shadow would have been above them if it kept following the pattern it was on. Also how she kept changing where Mirabel was looking so she wouldn’t see him.
Damn, i hadn't noticed it, thanks! That's such a cool detail!
My impression is when she asks "Do you understand?" she's hoping Mirabel would realize where Bruno without explicitly saying it.
There's a theory going around that everyone but Mirabel and the grandma knows where Bruno is but they just don't talk about it, and they don't really care enough either way (this is, after all, a family that can't be bothered to include Mirabel who's RIGHT THERE for a family pic).
I noticed that too, which makes a lot of sense with her gift, because how could she not have heard him at some point after the vanished.
Which is also why I like the part when she sings "it's like I can hear him now. I can hear him now", along with how one of her first lines she uses "can" instead of "could", which at least to me indicated that she is well aware of his presence
The funny thing is is that I noticed that but I just thought she was always looking around at something so it didn’t even register that she was trying to conceal Bruno’s presence lmao they need to start making children’s movies for adults because no child would have gotten the complexity of this story lol
اناتزا
I just love Mirabel's face at 2:05 - even amongst all of this, she still has time to show disdain at how extra Isabella is!
Lol so funny I am on my moms phone I loveeee this 7 foot frame
Same I noticed it.
This song never gets old
The most insane part about this song, is how Rhenzy Feliz, Camilo’s VA was not a trained singer, but still NAILED his part, which is just insane!
he the king
@W.D. Callahan 🗿
Are we talking about the same part? He only sings four notes. The highest is middle C and the lowest is the A♭ only two whole steps below. No one needs training for that. It doesn't tell me whether he can sing or not.
Come back when your part spans over one and half octaves.
@Eternalphobias did you not see him on the American Idol performance? Yeah he sang.
@Eternalphobias i’m not sure there’s behind the scenes footage from we don’t talk about bruno with him but i haven’t watched it haha
That SNEAK IN BALCONY when Dolores sings about Bruno and HE IS THERE! Didn't notice until like 4th time, but the very first time I actually focused on the video in that moment 🤣 and poor Luisa crying when Mirabel was putting pieces together
Bruno: "I just said it was going to rain..."
Bruno just gave warnings
I really love this song, especially the ending! Their voices sounded very beautiful and harmonious. When people sing together, and each melody is equally important, that is called a Madrigal, just like their last name. That was a great little Easter egg! This song overall is just amazing!
First time I watched this movie with my lady I was blown away by Camilo's voice, amazing.
Camilo, Dolores and Bruno definitely deserved a song in this movie, all their voices are amazing, we already saw all 3 of them have parts in songs in the movie, and i think a lot of people would’ve liked to see a song about the other side of bruno and his personality
We really need more from this movie, there's literally a LOT of potential everywhere
Yes
I mean they basically owned the “We Dont Talk About Bruno” song.
But when encanto 2 comes out I’d love to see Bruno actually singing and stuff.
And maybe give Antonio a song too?
@GloriousChickenz ikr
They deserve a whole other movie, not just a song
Yes, this is a request for Encanto 2
My favorite part is 3:21, because it’s the culmination of everyone’s parts at the same time and the phrase “He’s here” is amazing because it refers to Mariano’s arrival for dinner but it’s also a reference to Bruno still being in the house with them.
We Don't Talk About Bruno
I agree
Lo mejot es que una parte como esa En una musica se llama... Un MADRIGAL
We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no!
We don't talk about Bruno... but
It was my wedding day
It was our wedding day
We were getting ready, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky
No clouds allowed in the sky
Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin-
Thunder!
You telling this story, or am I?
I'm sorry, mi vida, go on
Bruno says, "It looks like rain"
Why did he tell us?
In doing so, he floods my brain
Abuela, get the umbrellas
Married in a hurricane
What a joyous day... but anyway
We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no!
We don't talk about Bruno!
Hey! Grew to live in fear of Bruno stuttering or stumbling
I could always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling
I associate him with the sound of falling sand, ch-ch-ch
It's a heavy lift, with a gift so humbling
Always left Abuela and the family fumbling
Grappling with prophecies they couldn't understand
Do you understand?
A seven-foot frame
Rats along his back
When he calls your name
It all fades to black
Yeah, he sees your dreams
And feasts on your screams (hey!)
We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no! (We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no!)
We don't talk about Bruno (we don't talk about Bruno!)
He told me my fish would die
The next day: dead! (No, no!)
He told me I'd grow a gut!
And just like he said... (no, no!)
He said that all my hair would disappear, now look at my head (no, no! Hey!)
Your fate is sealed when your prophecy is read!
He told me that the life of my dreams would be promised, and someday be mine
He told me that my power would grow, like the grapes that thrive on the vine
Óye, Mariano's on his way
He told me that the man of my dreams would be just out of reach
Betrothed to another
It's like I hear him now
Hey sis', I want not a sound out of you (it's like I can hear him now)
I can hear him now
Um, Bruno...
Yeah, about that Bruno...
I really need to know about Bruno...
Gimmie the truth and the whole truth, Bruno
(Isabella, your boyfriend's here)
Time for dinner!
A seven-foot frame (it was my wedding day, it was our wedding day)
Rats along his back (we were getting ready)
When he calls your name (and there wasn't a cloud in the sky)
It all fades to black (no clouds allowed in the sky!)
Yeah, he sees your dreams (Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin-)
And feasts on your screams (thunder!)
You telling this story, or am I?
I'm sorry, mi vida, go on (óye, Mariano's on his way)
Bruno says, "It looks like rain" (a seven-foot frame, rats along his back)
In doing so, he floods my brain
Married in a hurricane
He's here!
Don't talk about Bruno, no! (Why did I talk about Bruno?)
Not a word about Bruno!
I never should've brought up Bruno!
One of my most favorite songs it will never get old
Dolores’s part was probably the best in my opinion. The quietness and the classic “do you understand”
So what are everyone's names? The only people I know are Maribel, Luisa, Felix, Isabella and Bruno
Bruno also sneaking in the background and dancing during her part.
Dolores' part was the best because she described his dilemma and how the family and community see him. The others treated him like a myth, she wanted you to know he is a person.
And then after her quiet part Camilo comes in like "SEVER FOOT FRAME"
@2:44 when Camilo says, “Your Boyfriend’s here.” I just noticed they’re dancing in synchronized movements with their feet. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Its so funny and it makes the scene so much more fun.
I'm wheezing at mirabel's facial expression towards isabela's part at 2:05
Me too 👍😂
What I like is they added more people when the people were singing and nice animation too
It's amazing how they do the dubbing; I wanted to have a powerful voice like theirs
Man, everyone talks about how great the song is, but the choreography is on another level. Everyone moves with amazing moves, especially Felix and Dolores.
🐝 Babylon Bee's version even better! 👍
My favorite parts are actually when Camilo shifts into Bruno's form to taunt Maribel. The section with Dolores is cool too, and it gives a bit of a story hint that some people might miss. Specifically, that she hears his muttering and mumbling.
@rEnoCide ikr especially when Mirabel is walking through the characters after Camilo's part
oh poop you guys were referencing the actual dances and not the sync. that makes more dances.
@Ya Boi ya fr lol
I love this song it looks so wicked good 😍🦄🌺🎵
The different singers blended so well in this one song ❤️🎶
Love this song!!!!!!!!!
I love how in Dolores part you can see Bruno on the background as a shadow. Even at the end you can see him vibing at the song. Cute detail XDD
Bruno is the personification of “nobody wants to be the bearer of bad news”
more like "Don't shoot the messenger"
ISABELA YOUR BOYFRIENDS HERE 👹👹👹
@fnfunkin
You are right andrew
This is my FAVORITE song I listen to this song about five times a day!🤣🤣🤣
This song almost made me cry because of how good it is.
I Love it 💓
Of all lovely songs bruno is not talked about and deep down they are my favourites
dolores and camilo’s part just support eachother tbh if their verses weren’t right next to eachother they would still be good, just not as good as we are hearing it now like i actually got chills from dolores’ verse i love it so much and oh my god the part were they all sing is just to die for like the whole song goes so well together despite there being different tunes, different background tracks, etc with all this i wouldn’t expect them all singing at the same time would be so good???
🐝 Babylon Bee's version even better! 👍
@Cozplay Maniacz yes
@Tiger era yes but she knew Bruno her whole life
@Santiago Montanez wow that’s good to know😄
@Santiago Montanez it really is (:
is it just me or is Camilo's voice changing when he transforms into Bruno if you listen carefully if it is that's dedication to editing
So love this song I can’t stop singing this song 🎧
Camilo and Dolores's voices are juste amazing!
+
I love the whole song
My favorite part is Dolores', Camilo's, and, most importantly, the last sequence where everyone is singing along. That part is really great because you can hear one certain line from one of the characters really clearly, but when you try to focus on another character's singing, you can hear another different line. That cool effect of combining different audios together but making them cohesive and smooth is why I think this song, along with Surface Pressure, Family Madrigal, and Columbia mi Encanto, is my favorite one.
Edit: It's supposed to be *Colombia* Mi Encanto (sorry lol), and I almost forgot to mention Dos Origuitas as my favorite.
hi
Fun fact: the end of WDTAB where they're all singing together is called a madrigal
I definitely loved Camelio’s part. Especially the part where he catches Mirabel as Bruno, with his green eyes just glowing bright. Idk; but that just came off to me like a duet moment between the female protagonist and male villain story. Not saying Bruno is evil, I adore his character; but I can’t help but wonder was he originally planned to b the villain?
sameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
@Juan José Vargas No Qatar for you :) 😂😂
Why is this song so addictive 😭😭 I watched it on Facebook and now I keep hearing " we don't talk about Bruno no no " in my head 😭😭 that's why I'm here to listen to it again 🤣😏😏
I love how in Dolores’s part, she gets quieter than the rest of the people in the song because she can hear very well.
I think you mean she hears a bit TOO well.
this song never gets old
I sing this like every single time i hear this song 🎵 good job
I like all of the little hints in this song. “It’s like I hear him now.” And “He’s here.” Referring to Mariano, but also foreshadowing that Bruno’s still living in the house. And how Isabella looks sad and hesitant when she’s dancing around Mirabel, because she doesn’t want to marry Mariano.
@Illustrate not just assume know.
@RandomUser124 Well they’d been talking about how Mariano was on his way. So most people would assume they were talking about him.
@just here for fun 1:02
Nooit
@A B I think Camilo was in the back ground, cause when Dolores finished Camilo started singing with the appearance of Bruno.
I love this song I was rapping when Dolores was singing I was so good and I sang the whole song it’s so amazing 🤩
I love how Felix is just SO in love with Pepa, Isabela is really burdened about the "perfect" (she looks really pained in the end) and how you see Bruno in the background during Dolores' first part
Love the song!!😃😃
MY FAVOURITE SONG EVER!
SAME HERE
Dolores has my heart, everything she sang in this movie absolutely took me.
I haven't even see the film but judging off this film clip she's def my favourite.
for real, her part rapping in this song had me hooked af
She amazing 😍
Yeah thats why she's my favourite
Same
I love this song so much.
That part in musicals where every character harmonizes with the others, bringing a piece of a musical puzzle that slaps. Really hard.
We need more of that.
That type of song is actually called a Madrigal!
Love it
TIME STAMPS!
Pépa and Félix- 0:06
Dolores- 0:56
Camilo- 1:15
Townsfolk- 1:39
Isabela- 1:56
Bridge- 2:15
TIME FOR DINNER!! 2:47
Puzzle- 3:08
Thanks! 😊 this could be really useful!
This movie is literally the essence of "don't kill the messenger" I felt so bad for Bruno and Maribel
me to abuela mistook Mirabel for a bad person and Bruno everyone thinks he hated his family but he loved his family the whole time
@Lexi Pink wth is a escape goat💀
Mirabel!!!!
@justaddrandomwordsand yournamewillbelong wait WHAT???
Wow 🤩 ❤
I love we don’t talk about bruno
I love how Felix is still saying the day when he married Pepa was great despite the storm and all, because he loves her so much that the day of their wedding is one of the best days of his life regardless of anything else happening.
I love this song
1:20 Camilo's voice is giving me butterflies 😭
I love the line “I associate him with the sound of falling sand” sure that could be because of him using sand when looking into the future, but it could also be because he’s always throwing sugar and salt over his shoulder for good luck. Salt, sand, and sugar have very similar sounds when falling.
cool detail
@Sugar ●Bomb● you can also use subtitles
Dolora's part
"Hey grew to live in fear bruno"
"Stuttering or stumbling"
"I can always hear him"
"Sort of muttering or mumbling"
"I associate him with a sound of falling sand"
"Ch ch ch"
"It's a heavy lift with a gift humbling"
"Always left abuela and the family fumbling"
"Grappling with phropecies"
" they couldn't understand"
"Do you understand?"
@Foreverthedopestkidd yeah but it could be also because he throws sugar and salt behind him
His room has falling sand in it.
Mirabels expression when Isabella sings... priceless
Towards the end when their singing in the dining room all I can picture is Bruno getting ready to sit at his little spot with some food that the he got sneaking around the place hearing them sing about him and being sad.
another colossal song for this cartoon...
they really smashed it out of the park with this one :)
Muy buena canción
I really like that in the final chorus as Mirabel is surrounded by everyone, you can hear Isabella sing "and I'm fine, and I'm fine" with a frown on her face, foreshadowing her true feelings about her perfect life .. so many little details in this song
@Lara Flear no it's in the official lyrics that she said "and I'm fine, and I'm fine, and I'm fine, I'll be fine"
@Juliana Perriotte-Zain But "I'm fine" doesn't really fit the melody?
No Dolores said ‘he told me that the man of my dreams would be just out of reach betrothed to another’ and then she said ‘and I’m fine 4 times!!!
I agreed with you at first, but now I'm pretty sure sure said 'grapes on the vine, vine, vine' actually!
@DemonAMV'S It's both
WE NEED LIKE SEASON 2 FOR THIS AHHHH THIS IS A MASTERPIECE
The look of annoyance on Mirabel’s face when Isabella is singing is hilarious 😂
As I continue to listen to this song, I think I love the last part of this song the most. The part where everyone is singing their own parts while overlapping the others. Everyone wants to be heard but at the same time everyone is wrapped up in their own stories.
The absolute best part of the song. There’s just something about how they mesh together so perfectly. Love it
it's a prohibited family matter (bruno's disappearence), but everybody wants to talk so much about it.
Thanks for the music its awesome! I love it:3
I've said it once and I'll say it again: I adore how contrasting each characters melody is, showing their own unique personality in their song, and yet they compliment each other so incredibly well, like a family! I mean just listen to the time for dinner part, it sounds incredible! It makes me think of non-stop from Hamilton where you get to see each character shine and hear their dynamic together. Lin-manuel did such an incredible job on this soundtrack, it's an absolute banger :D
There's actually a word for songs where various voices act in harmony like that.
It's called a *Madrigal*.
@ENDER TERMINATOR and nobody asked for your opinion
@Busayo Odugbemi Bruno is in the backgorund, look behind here them on the top where everyone rooms is. It could just be her cousin turned into him, but he is holding a glowing green vision and it looks like he stops at a painting
@ENDER TERMINATOR BBB C cf
1:14 looking back, I just love how Bruno is just vibing
We don’t talk about bruno no no no no
We don’t talk about bruno!!!
But! It was my wedding day
(It was our wedding day)
We were getting ready and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! (No clouds allowed in the sky!)
Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin!

Hey grew to life of fear bruno stuttering and stumbling I can always hear him sorta muttering and mumbling I associate him with the sound of falling sand ch ch ch it’s a heavy lift with a gift so humbling always left Abuela with the family fumbling grappling approacite that couldn’t understand ! Do u understand?
Seven foot frame rats along his back when he calls ur name it all fades to black yeah he sees ur dreams and feasts on ur screams!
We don’t talk about bruno no no no noo (we don’t talk about bruno) he told me my gosh would die the next day dead!
(No no) he told me I’d grow a gut and just like he said! He said that all my hair would disappear but look at my hair! Ur faith is seeled when ur prophecy is read! He told me that the life of my dreams! Would be promised and sone day be mine! He told me that my power would grow! Like the grape that thrive on the vine!
Oye mariano on his way) he told me that the man of my dreams would be just out of reach! Bethroad to one other it’s like hear him now) hey sis ..I want not a sound out of u! I can hear him now! Umm bruno-yeah about that bruno-I really need to know about bruno give me the truth and I whole tell bruno!! Isabella ur boyfriends here! (Time for dinner!) seven foot frame rats along his back when he(promised and someday be mine)(he told me that my power would grow like the grapes that thrive on that v-v-vine!! (Bruno said ut looks like rain)promis and someday be mine) Abuela get the another nother! He told me that my power would grow like the grapes that thrive on the vine! What a joyous day but anyways we don’t talk about bruno! Why did I talk about bruno! Not a word about bruno- never should bought up bruno!!! *deep breaths*
I'm 32 and I listen to this movie track often..it's an amazing movie
I looooved this movie a lot, I don't think I'm really over it.
The way Felix smiles when he says "it was our wedding day"
This man loves his wife so much. A treasure
TRUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
We were getting ready and there wasn't a cloud in the sky
@Abril pepa is a horrible wife lol
But really my main beef is that 3D almost always throws away line as a design element, which is one of my favorite design elements. There's nothing like some good line quality in a drawing, and 3D subordinates any kind of line to tone almost as a rule. You tend to see shapes and volumes but not line. Which is fine in some cases, but you do lose something by never using it. It's understandable why they'd do this. Line quality becomes a liability between artists if you're working together to make a single product the way they do. But if you go back to old Disney cartoons and ask yourself why they're appealing, some of that appeal is certainly linework.
@NootNoot2504 2D peaked in the 90s with films like Lilo & Stitch and Emperor's New Groove. Just look at the background designs side to side and it's obvious. Even the incredibles you could say lived off of the strength of solid 2D shape design if you go back to their visdev. Going fully 3D ruined any sense of composition and from an image making standpoint it's just worse. Ultimately even if 3D, you're looking at a 2D image on a screen, so if you throw away respect for 2D image making, which I believe they have for economical reasons, the final product deteriorates.
We don't talk about Bruno (
Ukrainian)
No word about Bruno,
No word about Bruno
It was our wedding day,
The sky was blue and clear
Radiance
Bruno was on our wedding,
Bruno said what will be rain,
And it was.
Wind on the wedding howling,
It really killed me
We bloomed in that day,
And from that time
No word about Bruno,
No word about Brun!
Hey, from childhood I remember,
How that Bruno
Said something
For time that words
He hited my eyes.
Unhappy gift has
Said future
In the night going
How an cheap person,
He is so uncomfortable
How wind on the window.
He is monster rats taking
On a had,
He is in soul of all,
And hits as a flesh.
No word about Bruno,
No word about Bruno!
He said what the life
Of my dreams garantic find me,
He said what my power
Is growing as oak
In the spring.
He said what the man
Of your dreams choose
Another.
And this words like a knife,
Don't talk! Silence!
I am saying at last,
This like a knife!
This was a wedding day,
The sky was blue and clear
Radiance.
( He said what my power Is growing as a oak in the spring)
2:34
This whole part is just MMMM! The voice actors did so good, Lin did so good, everyone did go gOOD!!!!
I love this song 😁😁😁😁😁😁

YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
BRUNO
I love it 😘😘😘
for the people who didnt notice, when they were preparing the plates and the other things, on the right, there was Mirabel sneaking to her room
i love this song what a beatiful song
oh my God this is like the best song I have ever listened to
When Dolores sings“ betrothed to another” it’s soooo good
Yes, I said the same thing. Ahhaha so true.
Yeeeeeeee
Yea
@Jemima Nicole Francisco my favorite parts are when dolores is rapping and camilo saying: isabella your boyfriend’s here. Heheheheh
@Chris Philo Hey sis, I want not a sound out of you
I love this song so much 😭 ahh I'm a huge fan 💖
I loved it🌺🌺🌺🌺💖💖💖💖💖
All the songs in Encanto are absolutely incredible, but this one is the cherry on the cake. I cannot believe how good the music is in this movie, in my opinion it's a whole other level compared to Frozen.
I love how this song paints Bruno as a villain along the likes of Scar, Ursula, or Hades, when in actuality he’s basically just Sid.
The fact that Bruno is behind Dolores when she sings, just vibings kills me, she really hears him
Yes I was also thought about that
@Mary Elyne Heere he’s on the balcony the whole time!
yuh that was really cute!!! thanks
Wait when?
I never saw that until read this. Eeek.
I love it
I cant go one day without this song
i love it i love the songs
I love this song because my friend and me know the full song
I’ve listened to this like 100 times and I only just noticed that in Dolores’ verse you can see Bruno creeping around in the background love it so much and then he straight up starts dancing
Am I the only who can’t see him?
@Şehriban Güzel Wdym?
