Misha Zilberman is playing MS and XD with his mother. I would like to see Misha also bring in his father for the MD event. :D

The first player Ng Tze Yong has to faced is Chico who just won Malaysia Masters recently . What a hard luck for him😂
But nevermind, seeing his previous matches against India, Singapore and HongKong it has to be something to be reckoned with ..👏

Watch out for the underdog Ng Tze Yong. He's a very intelligent player got the similar style of that of Kento Momota. I've seen his games in the commonwealth, he gave a pretty good fight to Lakshya Sen and he beat Kidambi Srikanth in the semis.
So he's the Underdog to watch out for in the Men's singles.
PS: I'm from India 🇮🇳 and minions you better watch out for our beasts.

As I understand that seed 1 vs seed 4. All XD,MD,MS and WD are seed 1 vs seed 4 at the top half and seed 2 vs seed 3 at the bottom half. But the WS is not I saw the draw was seed 1 vs seed 3 at the top half and seed 2 vs seed 4 at the bottom half. Why? Was there a typing mistake or else? Anyone can help?

    • Tempest
      Tempest Bulan Yang lalu

Only 1st and 2nd seeds have a fixed place in the draw, which is the upper half and lower half respectively. The 3rd and 4th seeds won't be in the same half of the draw, but they can be any of the halves. It could have been 1st vs 3rd in all draws as well, it's based on luck, as far as I know. Also, I think you're incorrect. Because I just checked the draws and 1st and 4th seeds meet each other in the upper half in MS and XD whereas 1st and 3rd seeds meet each other in the upper half in WS, MD and WD.

Their ranking is too low at the moment to qualify for this tournament. Even if they join, it would not matter much as they would be knocked out by Indonesian pairs or Hoki & Kobayashi if Hoki & Kobayashi are in top form.

@Ambivert yup I agree. But the certain nation fans some of them not even know the rules yets like to toxic others country .for example the person that open this floor .all Indonesian semi final by see this draw also know 100% not possible. No one expects Malaysian WD players to win? They were just given a hero home welcome for winning golds in the CG beating England. A very big deal for Malaysian fans n government.

@Tulis nota and they (Tan/Thinaah) were destroyed by Chen/Jia also in Malaysia Masters, they lost the first game 10-21, definitely a bad score.

    • brotherjohn2210
      brotherjohn2210 Bulan Yang lalu

@Tulis nota Chen/Jia defeated Matsuyama/Shida in straight games but Du/Li and Zhang/Zheng lost in straight games to Matsuyama/Shida, in fact Zhang/Zheng lost with a very bad score. Du/Li also lost to Jeong/Kim and Baek/Lee.

    • brotherjohn2210
      brotherjohn2210 Bulan Yang lalu

They're strong and I always enjoy watching their matches. But, to be fair, they didn't have a real competition at the CWG this year. They're surely a threat and might hope to reach (or even win) the title this year at the BWC, but other top WD pairs are also really good and consistent. And they had more rest and preparation time then Tan/Thinaah. Having said that, I certainly hope they had a great performance at the BWC, even though I'm personally rooting for Fukushima/Hirota or Chen/Jia.
