His last shot as a Bull in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, his shot over Craig Ehlo, the switch from left to right handed layup, the Flu game in the Finals. Michael Jordan has some of the most iconic moments in the history of sports, not just the NBA.

@Jaime Escobañas If you're talking about the last play of the game, it's Pippen. 9:42 you'd see 33 on the back. 9:43 Marv Albert says "Pippen steals the ball! Rolls it to Kukoc!"

Jordan & Pippen, man Both fed off each other and it resulted in six NBA titles in six tries, never once playing in a Finals Game 7. Both were elite defenders and even better competitors who pushed each other to become the best. When it comes to the greatest NBA duos of all time, look no further than 23 & 33 in Chicago!!

Even though the '98 Finals is more famous, to me this was a better series. I'd say this might be one of the best NBA Finals ever played between two of the best teams in history. Each team traded 11-point wins and the other 4 games came down to the final buzzer. Plus, unlike '98, this series was tied 2-2 so there wasn't that inevitability of a series that is 3-1.

No,MJ fans give scottie the proper amount of credit, lebron fans and others try to give him WAY too much. They try their best to convince themselves and people who didn’t see him play that he’s on the same level as lebrons #2’s...And he’s not.
Everybody has internet, watch the tape, compare him to lebrons best teammates...check the numbers/stats,compare em to lebrons best teammates.
      It’d take 10 min max.
      And it’s not even close.

@LeUltraInstinct you're an idiot. First of all he wasn't the only one they got, they also got Horace grant so how about giving him some credit as well? 2nd pippen only averaged 10 points in the first round while Jordan averaged 45. Games 1 and 2 pippen scored 0 and 8 points and Bulls still won. Now the deciding game he did come up big with 24 points but I guarantee you didn't know that. Your dumbass just thought "once they drafted pippen they got passed the 1st round ".

Bulls were a great organization during the 90's. Great coaches, and players (Phil, jordan, pippen, kukoc, kerr, Rodman, Longley) that played together like a team. Beautiful chemistry.. This was probably one of the most exciting NBA Finals series ever. If you see the score either teams won by 2, 6, 1, I mean, was so competitive. I am a die hard Jazz fan but this game 6 was just horrible to watch. We had a chance to tie series again but what da hell John Stockton wanted to pass when the game was on the line to a rookie Shandon Anderson??? WTF! And why B.Russell wanted to pass to him afterwards? But truth to be told, if then had replays Pippen`s touch on rim during Anderson`s shot would gave us the 2 pt lead. And why everyone says Flu game 5 when everybody knows we put poison on MJ`s pizza. No flu but stomach problems which is way worst. First time I ever saw a black bball be palid.

80's and 90's were the best decades of the Nba. Most of the teams had their own allstar players, there were team rivalries and competitiveness was on a different level. Now look at the nba today, all-stars are bunched up in 5-10 teams and finalists are easily predictable(for e.g. Cavs and Gsw). I'm a millenial but I still prefer the classics.

This is still probably my all time favorite Pippen game his defense an offense still was clutch with 5 fouls not only that at that last seconds to be as clutch as he was to see the ball coming an get there for the steal then again he didn't choke or anything he threw it to the right man catching Tony almost by himself for the dunk leaving 6 seconds on the clock. Oh no he done had some good games some great games some bad games but this game to me is still probably his best atleast to me it's his best.

I remember going to this game with my dad and my brother still the only Chicago championship I've seen in person ( I went to Game 2 of the 2005 World Series, but that wasn't the clincher). I have seen other championships in person like Super Bowl 35 between Baltimore and New York and Super Bowl 43 between Pittsburgh and Arizona

@xxxxxJAYMILLZxxxxxxx I always said that. Kukoc was a big time player in these series. A lot of players stepped up and some were so clutch it was unbelievable

Teams were constantly up going into the 4th quarter against the Bulls. I always believed the Bulls waited until then to go full speed. And that's when you saw their best defense which was followed up by their offense.

As much as I get caught up in the memories and nostalgia of this game, I’m saddened by the loss of Brian Williams (Bison Dele). What was a huge pickup late in the 1996-97 regular season, he was a critical part of that 5th championship. His silent stare at 10:09 while MJ is giving the joyous speech is haunting to me. RIP Bison Dele 😔

9:00 Just heard Kerr talk about this play where Jordan knew he would get double teamed because earlier in the game they did the same thing, Stockton stole the ball from him, he told Kerr to be ready.

1997 and 1998 NBA finals were the best. Just so many dramatic moments. Jordan's buzzer beater, Stockton full court pass to Malone, The flu game, Steve Kerr and Pippen's defensive stop, John Stockton in Game 1 of the 1998 finals, Jordan's steal and pull up jumper Game 6 of the 1998 finals.

Whether it was the first 3peat team ( 91,92 & 93 ) or the second ( 96, 97 & 98) the bulls executed the 🔺( triangle) offense to perfection. Also they had not one but multiple 3point shooters on both teams. ❤. Some of u golden State fans need to see how then player Steve Kerr shot those pointers he was making. Yea u heard me right, he was a perfectionist when it came to shooting from 3point range. You might need to watch this video.

Pippen himself acknowledged that the Jazz gave the Bulls one hell of a difficult finals series. That's how good the Stockton-Malone era Jazz was: if the '97-'98 finals involved any other team aside from the Bulls, Utah Jazz woulda won two rings already.
