Feminism, that's the answer.
That list of moives and them MIB lol
only the first one is a good movie... 2nd, 3rd and this one are just meh
Pretty boring film
Welcome to 2019, white men are lame, stupid losers and everyone else is snarky or smart, blacks and woman are flawless. It's boring. Less diversity is needed.
youre the only cool reviewer who even bothered to review this one... ya, it sucks bigtime. the whole time i watched it, i just couldnt stop thinking how little it was entertaining me.
I liked 1, 2 and 3But hated international
I felt that MIB III was a good film, almost as good as MIB I.
The best part of the movie was the little cute alien guy. The main actors sucked. The girl was never intimidated by the MIB organisation and was a know it all. It wasnt even that hard to find the MIB HQ. If anyone on the road had seen the alien ship crash and told a taxi driver to follow the car they would have found it.The only good parts were that they gave a little history about the organisation and the little alien guys humor was cute
It was horrible
Why do i get more joy seeing and hearing Chris tear a movie to shreds than praise a movie?
MIB International is cringe because its following the new Hollywood standard where the priority is on political correct ideology and not the story/characters. At this point the IP will have to go on a decent hiatus and then be rebooted and even then it probably will never regain its previous form.
The moment I heard Emma Thompson was pushing for the name to be changed to something like "People in Black" or "Humans in Black" my first thought was, "Nope, not wasting my time with this propaganda garbage."
Totally right assessment. I slept off after trying for about an hour.
3:34 For me the villains started off cool. I thought their spontaneous dancing in the club was hilarious, and wished they had continued with that sort of comedic approach with them throughout the movie, even blending it with the fight scenes, but then, instead, in the following fight scene on the street, they just started nose-diving into a silly mess, using car doors and the "matter" around them like they dont give a !@#$ to block the MIBs weapons which dont seem to hurt them much anyway (and seem really weak and ineffective /pointless throughout the movie - just there for lame jokes about their size). The bad guys essentially never really gain any personality from then on, and "ethereal/invulnerable" enemies have always bothered me in these sorts of movies. Its like a cheap way of making a "mysterious" generic enemy without having to "flesh them out" literally or figuratively.
The original men in black is not that good. It's overrated.
I don’t know why but I feel like the scenes are so rushed like one moment they are killing stuff and then the shot some hive dude that was an agent? SOME BACKSTORY PLEASEAlso what happened to the two energy guys? Where are they from?
LETS TALK ABOUT THE CAMPFIRE IN THE DESERT!!! WHERE DID THEY GET THE WOOD FROM?!?!
Hollywood's new movie formula for millennials is the reason most movies suck nowadays. 1- Always giving the intellectual role to black actors because they want to get rid of the thug stereotype. Seems like it's okay to be a thug in hip hop videos, but not in movies, because it's racist. 2- Cramping every race on the planet in the movie, because diversity is the new fad, and if any gets left out, they might be offended and get their feelings hurt. 3- Women have to kick, punch, shoot and be just as tough as the male protagonist. No more scenes where the guy gets the check at a restaurant, because they'll surely get a lot of crap from the feminists. 4- There has to be a gay character in the movie, or they'll get a lot of crap from the LGBT community.
Felt the same way. Could not keep watching.character development left me not giving dam half way through and I left
Personally speaking, this one is the worst among all MIB movies ...
Hollywood thinks that "international" means either Paris or London. lol
The problem with the movie is that they forgot what made original MIB movies good. The aliens weren't supposed to be out there in the public, not disguising themselves, because otherwise they would not be allowed to exist. This was a missed opportunity and I fear things aren't going to get better anytime with more MIB movies.I did not like the "it's 2019, we should not say men in black only, there are women there too" approach shoved into us couple of times, you can make a joke but it's becoming so tiring hearing old franchises crapped on in modern times because they had maybe sexist (?) titles. I mean they treat agent M like she is the first woman in MIB. No, we had woman member at the end of original franchise with Will Smith (way better at acting as MIB than Chris Hemsworth, sorry). Movie had potential but they blew it with changing the lore and logic of MIB. Sadly
No Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones = NO WATCH.
Has anyone ever told u it sounds like ur saying " get stuck by knives " random question...
Another franchise ruined...
I think the first MIB was a hit because it's lighting in a bottle that's all. First movie was enjoyable to say at best. The rest is just mundane. And this new MIB international is just bad choice. Don't talk about going to see the movie. I didn't even finished watching the trailer.
I just saw this movie and only got half way through. its terrible.
This movie doesn’t have anything that stands out everything in this movie is only enjoyable for someone who didn’t see a lot of movies and I’m not only talking about mib I’m talking about movies in general this movie just doesn’t have anything special it’s just an action movie with weak comedy and weak story and predictable twist so overall this movie is 5/10
Can someone explain to me his scores ? I can tell if he thinks a movie is good or bad but I don’t understand his scores at all I only understand scores in numbers
Jeff Bridges and Chris Hemsworth it would be a good duo
get woke go broke @UCCqEeDAUf4Mg0GgEN658tkA propaganda
Men in Black: International - 3/10
I don't want to say it but i will, this is yet another franchise they are bringing woman main character into, i don't know whats happening to the cinema world, but it's getting so freaking old so fast and tiresome :( you know it's not EVERY god damm franchise that NEED to have a woman as main character, it is OK to have man too -_-
The girl killed this movie. It's so bad.
ja , one might think : if they putting that much money in the making of these Blockbusters, how can it be so hard to find a script that´s worth writing it or do they hide the real ones on purpose?
MiB: Politically correct Mary Sue hunts the MacGuffin in American holiday destinations.
clouds5 I agree that the character should be more then her gender and skin color, and I actually find it sort of condescending to see this common theme of women replacing male characters in major films. So I do see where you’re coming from, but she just isn’t what I picture when I think of a Mary Sue.
@Milky Treat yeah self trained super woman who does all the training for a secret organisation off camera in her childhood? Great writing. And I have zero issues with her being black (I had zero issues with Will Smith being black 20 years ago). But being black doesn't make her a good character. That's my issue. It might be what people want to see. But it's not enough. Characters are more than just skin colors and genders.
How does being a black girl mean being politically correct??? Because people want more black female roles?? I never really saw how that could be perceived as wrong to anyone. What’s the big deal if people want more women or more people of color? How does it hurt you? And she comes off as a skilled character because she’s been self taught throughout her whole life. She had to have been skilled. It’s a major point in the plot.
@Milky Treatjust a few examples:- she's the rookie and becomes the queen of an alien just because she's there.- she's a girl and she's black (nothing wrong with that ofc, but very politically correct) - she repairs a flying motorcycle in the desert in her first week as Agent- she mentions that every women should be treated like a queen- the film constantly displays her as equal or better than one of the best agents (H) even though she's a complete rookie.- she never gets injured or hurt and wins every conflict easily.Should I continue?
clouds5 Ooh I wonder which one’s the politically correct Mary Sue? Surely not the female lead, who has nothing to do with either of those things. Hmm.
Tbh Hemsworth is not bad, but he's not that good either. He's same in every movie.
He's absolutely right it is a background movie!
worst movie of 2019
Men in BlackBlack in Men sounds like a wrong parody🤣
I just watched it by pirating but I think they did some good work here though the writing was the weakest part. I thought actually getting to see inside the politics of the MIB universe was cool. I think some of the new technology was cool, the locations were cool, aliens, etc, lots of this stuff was cool. I felt like the humor as you said sucked, I think the plot with Liam Neeson was really lowkey and could have been more threatening to the main characters, I think some of the sexist humor was cringey, I don't care about feminist and welcome more feminism but the ending scene was too immasculating, should've cut it.
i watched the movie, and it felt like crap tbh
This film went straight to HdRip online lol
Would the blame for this movie be the writer's or director's fault ?
If Chris says it's bad, I watch it.. He has a stick up his ass
Didn't feel any thing like the others. It was completely flat. Even the worst of the before were entertaining. This movie thow it had great actors and actresses, just rode on it being a MiB movie. Bad writing, bad direction.
Sorry with respect, you sound like... I don't want to say it, but I'll ask, have you been adding any soya products to your diet recently? Hmmm ?
It’s international lol 😂 but why are they constantly creaming the movies with same actors , I fell Taken !! Tommy Lee and will smith are the M.I.B ...
First movie was based on a book...After that... Game of Thrones Season 8 Syndrome. ;]
I definitely wasn't going to waist money to go see it!!!!
Why didn't you mention that the movie is called 'MEN' in black. Maybe the title should be changed to persons in black. Men are tougher than women, and men go to see action movies to see other men do tough things! Indiana Jones would have flopped if Dr. Jones was cast as a woman. RAMBO is another good example. It would have flopped if John Rambo was cast as a girl. There are movies that work with females as badass's like Alien, but it has to be done a certain way! Nowadays no one knows how to do it, and it's painfully obvious. All these dumbshit movies with women totally dominating men in fights is retarded! Remember when Indiana Jones fought that huge shirtless dude on the runway tarmack? Indy had to fight the behemoth dirty, and get creative because the guy was a monster. That is how you use technique to make scenes believable! But nowadays they show women beating the shit out of ten giant men at once! It's totally unrealistic and stupid, and it takes you out of the movie. It's just stupid choreography. I'm sticking with movies like Hereditary (independent movies.) They are our saving grace against this rising tide of retarded, politically correct, bullshit!
I think it would have been really funny if during that little convo with Emma Thompson and Tessa, if they had said "we thought about allowing everyone to be woman in black, then the gender binary in black, we had transgender in black, *alien language* in black, eventually it got way too time consuming."
Oh yeah they have to figure out how to put more black woman in it. I'm sick of this stupid shit. Like stranger things. I'm from small town Indiana, and black people don't live in small towns in Indiana! In Stranger things half the fucking town is black! My school had ONE black kid in it! ONE! It's like putting mostly white people in boys in the hood! It wouldn't make sense! This movie is 'MEN' in black! Not women in black! This PC bullshit is getting so old! The black population of the United States is 14%! So it's not racist to not have movies full of blacks. It's realistic.
Watching MIB international it really felt more like superheroes with superpowers that looked strange rather than aliens, like they can manipulate time in localized areas with their hair, wtf?
can't wait until Until MIB7 not!! remake tragedy..1 2 3 was ok but 4 Was we just don't need it at all.. go away Hemsworth take 5 years off relax and buy a coffee shop at Byron or Balina. disappear sunshine your like barbeque ketchup here in Aus.. your on everything I didnt ask for it.
I think it’s too obvious that Hemsworth was meant to be the villain but they wanted to franchise so they changed it to Neeson.
Finalllyyyyy saw it..It had some funny, very good moments. I mean, it was genuinely pretty funny at some points. Pawnee was super cute btw lol. But honestly... it lacked the big thrills and excitement the other MIB's had. Definitely should've thought this one through more. Super lackluster and too boring. 4.5 out of 10.
I was soooo bored when I watched the movie I kept getting refills for my popcorn
Rip Rip. :(
Do you like naurto? ... if you don...WHERE THEIR SHIRT ... PLEASE LOL 😂
Another one into the bin.God damn you Hollywood.
Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson work together MARVELously! HA!
Tessa lacks sex appeal n she tries too hard
I mean the les twins being on screen was pretty hype for me 😍
Was expecting Korg and Meek cameo in the movie - "Thor, here he comes again... Noobmaster69"
This is the worst MIB period.
Min and black should I had Kevin Hart And Dwayne Johnson facing CGI like the thing
The men in black should have just gone with what I told them Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson Hands down woulda made the best men in black
I haven't actually seen the movie cuz it didn't look good, but Jesus Christ why is no one talking about the God awful cgi. All the aliens in the commercials look like cartoons and it's just so ugly. Was this fixed in the actual movie? If not than why am I the only one saying something about it
I just got back from seeing it. I thought it was okay. I'd give this a B-. I do think Men in Black 3 is better but this movie is nowhere near the level of bad as Men In Black 2. Men in black 3 in my opinion is very underrated. its obviously not as great as the original but it's still a good movie
Go woke, go broke... Hollywoke 😂
unpopular opinion but this is pretty much how i felt about SM: Far From Home
