Mobile Games shouldn't be a thing.

I don't see anything different from most other mobile games. Repeating stages is normal. And the microtransactions probably are a bit unfair, but I'm sure it will be possible to get premium currency within the game through quests or something.

Eh, the commentary they give on this game is cringe, especially since they are acting up on something that is a gacha game. Again, a gacha game.
I get it, no one wants to pay, and micro transactions are not a good thing. That is a very reasonable argument. The grind however is not that bad unless you just want to complain, and the main complaint just seems to be the game getting repetitive rather than actually being a pain to play itself.

People are saying 7% is high for a gacha game. It is high but when the gems you need to summon is so scarce that after you finished the main story and side events you only have enough for one multi summon. It is absurd how little gems you can get on this game. And theres no 5* star guaranteed either.
Some people might argue that the game gives you units but the gacha summon system for this is the absolute worst ive ever seen in any game. And i play e7, fgo and other gacha games. At least these games gives u a way to farm enough to multi summon a couple times. But pokemon masters gacha? Geez

I was hoping the grind would be acceptable seeing how it's a Nintendo/PokeCompany game and hoe the three big announced just a week ago that they would disclosure all gambling odds directly in the game in the future. Oh man, how naive I was!

Nintendo’s reputation is worth more than making a shit ton off mobile games, they’re m child friendly and they absolutely never want to get asked “how did you associate our brand with child gambling” like EA got

IMO pokemon masters is actually at the lower end of the greed spectrum when it comes to mobile gacha games. there's no energy limit and the summoning rates are MUCH MUCH better compared to the other gachas that I've previously played. not to mention maxing your character's levels is actually pretty easy and just takes like half an hour of auto-grinding.

..um so like pokemon masters ONLY has micro transactions for sync pairs which along with the fact that they warn and discourage you from even purchasing. NONE of the items, leveling, etc can not be gained by buying them, so really? you guys are just begging for a free game

  • Shilvio D. Linton
Shilvio D. Linton 5 bulan yang lalu

I think they should max out microtransactions where if someone ends up paying over $60, the free offerings increase and lock off microtransactions. E.g. adopt the Mario Run strategy but make a higher ceiling.

Don’t protect companies for advertising gambling to kids. Pokemon is the most valuable media franchise ever, they don’t need to get that extra money, they want it because they are greedy. Stop protecting anti consumer practices.

I can't believe how much nonsense is peddled in this video, no microtransactions are needed to succeed in the game. For a gacha, Masters has some of the most fair and affordable monetization as well. A majority of the content is earned through gameplay only

  • Curtis Shideler

Also, what's the goal of the game? If it's to beat the story, it sounds like you can play through the game for free. But if it's to collect and power up all these characters to their highest levels, then it turns the game into nothing but a collector simulator where you're forced to grind or pay to get there. But that's their tactic... that's not the game. The game is free! The OCD you have is what will cost you. ;)
